About Us
Timbavati boxers are a small breeding kennel. We first got involved with boxers in 1989 when we moved to our first house. I wanted a dog and Chris agreed with the understanding that it should be a boxer. I remember asking him:” What does a boxer look like?” As a child his neighbours had a fawn boxer with the name "Elsa". We bought our first boxer, "Maggie" from a colleague of Chris. She was not registered and she introduced us to an exciting life with boxers. Ten month after that we bought our first registered and breeding female "Nadine".
In 1997 when I started working more regular hours we decided to show our dogs. We bought Casti (Ch. Jakkalsdans Castillian) and Gabby (Ch. Tambay's Gabriella) from two well known breeders in South Africa. Out of Gabby we kept Joy (Rosche's Bundle of Joy) and from Casti we kept Licorice (Boyarkas Global Timbavati). We have met the most incredible people in the boxer circles that will stay live long friend. In 2003 we and our Boxer family moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We believe in breeding sound, healthy Boxers with correct disposition.
